Similar to Boa Esperança plant, the municipality of Extrema in Minas Gerais State initiates the projects for the construction of its own Thermochemical Power Generation Plant (TPGP) with Carbogas Energia technology. Extrema is recognized for its notorious work in the environmental sphere, having several innovative projects. As one of the first municipalities to construct its own sanitary landfill, the lifetime of the project is reaching its end. To this matter, the TPGP will replace the landfill for the final disposal of waste, as well as recovering the area, promoting environmental gains and also electricity for the city.
